AboveBeyond is led by Shane Deconinck — an independent IT advisor and builder from Belgium, and the signature on everything this company ships.

Behind that signature: eight years of applied research at Howest’s Cyber3Lab, building production implementations of European trust infrastructure — EBSI, the EU Digital Identity wallet, verifiable credentials — and now, through trustedagentic.ai, what it takes for AI agents to be worth trusting. Human-centered by training, iterative by conviction.

That work travels: speaking at the EU Parliament on AI governance and at Linux Foundation summits, co-founding the LF Decentralized Trust European Chapter and leading its Belgian one — recognised with the 2025 LF Decentralized Trust Community Award.
